We asked our guests what would make their bowling experience even better and the response was loud and clear... You don't love the rental shoes.
So, now you have the choice at select Splitsville locations!
We've currently rolled out Wear Your Own Shoes to our Kingston, Waterloo, Richmond Hill, Nanaimo, and Calgary Meridian locations.

Safety first!
To keep our guests safe, we do have a few safety rules in place when you're picking your kicks:
- no open toe shoes
- no high heels
- no slip-on shoes (ie: slides or Crocs)
- shoes must be clean and dry
Recommended Shoes
We recommend wearing comfortable running shoes or casual sneakers.
If you visit us with footwear that doesn't fit the bill for a bowl-off, we'll provide you with bowling shoes at no additional cost.
And if you still love the retro vibe of the rentals, we have them here waiting for you—Those shoes are going to miss all their regular play time!
Roll with the seasons
We all know that Canadian weather can be quite unpredictable!
There may be days or seasons during the year where bowling shoes will be required to keep our lanes clean and safe (at no charge to you).
And, if it's raining, snowing, or you're wearing winter boots, you can always bring a pair of indoor shoes—Just like elementary school!
Glow 'N' Roll
Join us for the ultimate glow-in-the-dark bowling extravaganza Saturday and Sunday starting at 1 PM. Get ready to experience bowling in a whole new light, quite literally!
Glow bowling is also available after our bowling leagues during the week. Please check your local Splitsville's league schedule for more information.

Yes, for the safety of all our guests, we do have a few types of shoes you cannot wear on our lanes:

*Shoes must be clean and dry on the lanes.
If it's raining, snowing or you're wearing winter boots, you can bring a pair of indoor shoes (just like elementary school). If you don't have a pair of clean and dry shoes, we have bowling shoes available that you can borrow (at no charge!).
If you're not wearing the right type of shoes during your visit, we'll provide you with bowling shoes at no additional cost.
If you still love that retro vibe, have no fear, you can still borrow a pair of ours at no additional cost!
